What we’re looking for: The Banking Operations Manager is responsible for managing and supporting daily operation activities including item processing, exceptions/adjustment processing, account reconciliation, transaction research and dispute resolution, ACH file processing, ATM settlements, personal/business online banking, debit cards, credit cards, RDC, wire transfers, other processing rails within the payment arena, and market place lending activities. The manager will be responsible for new product implementation and compliance. In addition, this person will be responsible for establishing and updating policies and procedures for operations. The ability to coordinate company-wide operations projects crossing various job levels and functions is a must. This is a multi-incumbent position. This person must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Responsibilities: Has frequent contact with branch and other personnel to reconcile and resolve daily transactions and/or disputes. Provides indirect supervision by providing functional guidance to support personnel and assisting with training issues. Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Ability to lead and develop a team of analysts. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in financial services or related discipline preferred. Minimum of 7 years banking experience. Proven banking or finteh operations management skills and ability to meet production parameters, review internal controls, and meet processing requirements. Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to think strategically and lead change. Proven project management skills with a focus on building high performance relationships and processes to drive projects forward. Technological savvy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present analysis in writing and verbally. Ability to lead and motivate various levels of staff.
